Niraj tops Salcete Rapid Chess

Niraj Saripalli beat Vivaan Ballikar to score 8 points in 9 rounds and win the Salcete Taluka Open Rapid Chess Tournament 2017 conducted by Salcete Taluka Chess Association recently at Nehru Stadium Fatorda, Margao.

Reuben Colaco finished second with 7 ½ points while Nandini Saripalli had to be content with third position scoring 7 ½ points. Saish Fondekar beat Jugan Rodrigues to clinch the 4th position. Ishan Pagi beat Soham Dhuri to take the 5th position.
