Adpai: Provide regular water supply

Residents at Adpai village in  Ponda facing great  inconvenience due to non-availability of potable water during  day, as a result throwing the routine household  chores out of gear. Water cuts have been a regular feature over the  years and residents at large remain have remained silent spectators with  no alternative at  their disposal. Neither the elected representatives at the local village  Panchayat nor the local MLA has initiated any favourable action in  order to  end the hardships of the local population.

However, the MLA has  made arrangements for provision of supplying water through water tanks,  but that’s no long-term solution. You cannot expect people to remain  awake till  late in the night to fill tanks at home. The PWD Minister has promised  regular water supply, and recently he even went to the extent of saying  that  Cortalim and surrounding villages would receive 12 hours water in  the next two to three years. But what about the people staying in his  own constituency - Marcaim?
