Clear parking areas

With the ever-increasing number of vehicles on Goan roads, parking has become a serious problem. No doubt, the concerned authorities have demarcated necessary space for parking of two-wheelers and cars, however we find vendors as also stray cattle occupying these spots. In Ponda, cattle regularly occupy the parking area adjacent to Hotel Menino in the vicinity of old bus-stand. As a result, people are unable to park their vehicles at this spot. Similar is the case at the car park opposite Bank of India. Stray cattle occupies the spot, especially in the morning and motorists desirous of parking their vehicles remain at a great disadvantage. The enclosed picture amply justifies this fact. Due to unavailability of space, people then halt/park their cars along the narrow road thereby disturbing free movement of traffic along this busy route. Can the concerned authorities initiate prompt favourable action in clearing the areas marked for parking?
