Take pride in National anthem

It is sad to note that a debate has been raised surrounding the playing of the national anthem in theatres and that there is no problem to remain seated when the national anthem is being played.
The question to be asked is, how could an Indian have the heart to remain seated while the national anthem is being played? Besides standing for 52 seconds during the national anthem, it would be in the fitness of things to sing along the national anthem in a hushed voice.
On television we see sports persons and several spectators in the stands singing while the national anthem is being played at the start of a sports event. As proud Indians we need to show our pride in belonging to this great country and one way to do this is to take pride in our national anthem and respect it.
