Panjim: Jain TV group announced that one of its companiesNoida Software Technology Park Limited (NSTPL) has prepared itself to launchthe HITS project. NSTPL’s HITS platform has been branded as JAINHITS and willsupport India’s national goal of changing television networks from analogue todigital system. The digital TV distribution platform will be able to deliver200 to 500 TV Channels. NSTPL has signed a multi-year, multi-transponderagreement for C-band capacity on Intelsat 902 at 62 degree East. JAIN HITS NewGeneration Network and its Set Top Box will have special provisions to turninto a hybrid platform providing both broadcasting as wells as broadbandInternet services.
