The Goan Cultural Centre (GCC), Kuwait, will host the World Goa Day 2025 in Kuwait on October 31, marking the 25th anniversary of the global event that has united Goans across continents in a shared love for their heritage, language, and vibrant culture.

World Goa Day is a heartfelt tribute to the historic recognition of Konkani as an official language of India’s Constitution, a moment that forever preserved the soul of Goa’s identity.

Under the leadership of GCC Kuwait President Carmo Santos, this year’s celebration carries special pride, as GCC takes on the honour of hosting World Goa Day in its true global spirit for the very first time.

Kicking off the festivities will be a thrilling 3-a-side football tie-breaker at 10 am, setting the tempo for an unforgettable day.

Goa’s very own power-packed band ‘Injunktion’ will be jetting in especially to rock the stage with their electrifying performance.

Fuelling the festive spirit, Goa’s dynamic MC Felly Gomes will bring his trademark energy and wit to keep the crowd on their toes throughout the celebration.

Adding sparkle to the evening, delegates from Goa and around the world will join the festivities — a heartwarming reunion of Goans bound by nostalgia, pride, and unity.

The event will also feature captivating audio-visual presentations crafted by Kuwait’s own talented Goan, T-Bush, adding a creative flair that promises to dazzle audiences and evoke cherished Goan memories, as well as gifts and exciting prizes.

“Together, this celebration will echo the essence of Goa, its language, music, laughter, and unbreakable bond that transcends borders. The day promises non-stop fun, a vibrant blend of indoor and outdoor activities, lively stalls, and entertaining games for all ages,” said Santos.

“With a passionate team, dedicated members, and enthusiastic supporters, the event promises to be a memorable and soul-stirring experience for everyone who calls Goa home, near or far.”
