PANAJI: Gabriel Pereira, Organ Donation Ambassador from MOHAN Foundation, was invited to give a talk on organ donation at St. Bridget’s Institute of Home Nursing (a project of Caritas “ Goa), Aldona on Saturday.
Gabriel thanked Sister Anna, the institute’s in charge, and the students for the invitation and started with showing the video on brain stem death.
He asked everyone what MOHAN stood for, and after a while Gabriel explained that it is an acronym for Multi Organ Harvesting Aid Network. He spoke about the mission of the NGO, how long it’s been in service to the people, and its objectives.
