Goa’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections for October 2025 registered a significant dip of three per cent against the collections in the same month last year. Official finance ministry data shows that Goa's GST collections were Rs 545 crore in October this year, Rs 14 crore lower than the Rs 559 crore netted in October 2024, indicating a grim scenario despite the Diwali festival kick-off of the new tourism season. The dip in October, however, did not impact Goa's rising GST collections in the current financial year and overall GST revenues for the April-October seven-month period still recorded a three percent growth with respect to the corresponding period last year. This year (April to October) Goa's GST revenue collection was Rs 4,153 crore. Of this, Rs 1,718 crore was collected by the State formations and Rs 2,435 crore by the Central formations. The data reveals that Goa has 19,254 GSTIN numbers registered under Central formations and 28,777 under State formations.
