PANAJI: The silver jubilee celebration of Sanatan Saunstha will take place on November 30 in Goa, with Swami Shri Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, gracing the event. This year also marks Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj’s 75th birthday, and the platinum jubilee of his life’s work will be celebrated alongside the silver jubilee. The event will be held at the Socorro Panchayat Hall in Porvorim from 5 pm to 7.30 pm, as announced by Chetan Rajhans, national spokesperson of Sanatan Saunstha, in the presence of Shubha Sawant and Subhash Naik, general secretary of Geeta Parivar, in Panaji.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant will attend the ceremony, along with Union Energy Minister Shripad Naik, Goa’s Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte, and MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade. Binda Singbal, a spiritual heir of Sanatan Saunstha’s founder, Satchitanand Parabrahma Dr Jayant Athavale, will also be present.
