MARGAO: Mahendra Juvatkar will head the Cutbona Boat Owners Federation for 2026 after a new committee took charge. At a meeting, members of the Federation announced the formation of the new committee for 2026. The committee aims to strengthen unity among members, safeguard the interests of boat owners, and promote the development of the fishing sector.
It comprises President Mahendra Juvatkar; Vice Presidents Antonio Fernandes and Sebastiao Cardozo; General Secretary Patrick Silva; and Treasurer Savio Fernandes. Executive members include Patrick D’Silva, Savio D’Silva, Antonio J Rodrigues, Fritto Cardozo, Umesh Naik, Remy Rodrigues, Rohan Juvekar, Ivo D’Silva and Jose Camilo Silva. General Secretary Patrick D’Silva said the Federation is confident that the new committee will work hard to address the concerns of boat owners and ensure the sustainable growth and welfare of the fishing community.
