Mormugao Taluka BJP leaders have hailed Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for his decisions to withdraw the life and income certificate for Griha Aadhar scheme and to supplying onions on ration cards.
Speaking to media, Vasco BJP Mandal President Deepak Naik said women faced a lot of hardships for getting income certificates for the Griha Aadhar scheme.
“We had met the CM for a solution to avoid the hardships and he assured to resolve the issue in the cabinet meeting. We will also place a request to have an online platform for the issuance of many important certificates," said Naik.
Murgao BJP Mandal President Sanjay Satardekar said there had been a shortage of onions due to heavy rains.
