Panaji: A Nandi Sammelan, as part of the preparations for the 100th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, will be held at Dhempe College, Bambolim, on November 14. The initiative is part of a nationwide programme to organise 99 Nandi Sammelans to connect regional litterateurs with the national literary movement.
Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Mahamandal president Yogesh Soman announced this at a Snehmelaav in Panaji on Thursday. The 100th Sammelan will be held at Savitribai Phule Pune University from January 28 to 31, 2027. Gomantak Sahitya Sevak Mandal president Ramesh Vanskar expressed hope that the 101st Sammelan would be held in Goa, while Dr Kiran Thakur stressed collective efforts to promote Marathi literature.
