Noted educationist and Mapusa-based businessman Gurudas Natekar was recently conferred with the prestigious ‘Rashtriya Nirman Ratan’ award of the Intellectual People's Foundation, New Delhi.
Natekar was awarded for his contribution to the field of education.
Intellectual Peoples Foundation (IPF) is a foundation that promotes and encourages commendable achievements from all over the country.
Natekar's 18th book has recently been published and he has produced a Konkani film ‘Ransanvat’ based on his Marathi novel ‘Ek Wadal Ghongavatana’. The film was selected and screened at the 50th International Film Festival.
He is currently the Trustee of the G D Amonkar Vidya Mandir, which is run by New Goa Educational Trust.
