The Novena preparations for the Feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the Panaji Parish, are underway, with the blessing of the flag (Maddi) conducted on November 28.
The Novena Masses are allocated zone-wise, with special Masses for children and senior citizens.
The Novena Mass is celebrated on weekdays at 7.45 am and on Sundays at 7.30 am. The solemn concelebrated Feast Mass will be celebrated on December 8 at 9 am in Konkani and a Mass in English at 11.30 am.
The Novena and Feast Masses are being telecast live to enable people participate in the Mass, due to restrictions in view of Covid-19, states Panaji Parish Priest Fr Walter de Sa.
