The trunk of a mango tree which had fallen on the road last month is yet to be cleared and poses a threat to motorists using the road at Azossim.
Speaking to The Goan, Prof Ramrao Wagh informed that the tree trunk occupies a portion of the narrow road thereby posing a threat to the road users.
“Already, several accidents have occurred at the spot and in one such mishap, a person has been admitted in a hospital with fracture injuries to his leg,” Wagh added and stated that it is important to clear the tree trunk before more mishaps occur at the spot.
