MARGAO Agxem SC got the better of Virabhat SC 3-2 to move to the quarterfinals of the Paldem Sports Club inter-ward football tournament, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Thursday.

Prinson Martins, Jovel Martin's and Alroy Gomes netted a goal each in the 7th,12th and 15th minutes respectively while Rice Fernandes pulled a goal back in the 39th minute for Virabhat.

MARGAO: Verna SC blanked St Rock YC, Majorda, 4-0 to enter the semifinals of the St Joseph Festival inter-village football, at Dramapur ground, on Thursday.Verna scored the first goal through Andrus John in the 45th minute . Andrus scored his brace in the 50th minute. ,Verna further inflated the lead through Sheldon Pereira in the 52nd minute. Joyston Pinho too added his name on the scoresheet.
