Art initiative highlights youth perspectives on careers

PANAJI: Forty-five students from across Goa explored career choices, financial pressures and early work transitions through creative expression at Art × Evidence, an initiative by Antarang Foundation in collaboration with the Goa State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). Participants used visual art, dance, writing, theatre and textile craft to interpret themes on the transition from education to employment. Their work was showcased at Clube Tennis Gasper Dias in Panaji before educators, institutional leaders and employers.

The students are part of Antarang Foundation’s career education programmes in government and aided schools, aimed at improving awareness of career pathways and decision-making. Founder Priya Agrawal said the initiative highlighted lived experiences and the need to build stronger links between education and employment.
