The initiative reflected the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by promoting experiential and multidisciplinary learning. It also helped students connect cultural heritage with management practices, while building leadership, problem-solving and collaboration skills. The department acknowledged the guidance of faculty members Kapila and Nafisa, whose support made the activity possible.
Panaji: First Year BBA Travel and Tourism students of Don Bosco College, Panaji, took part in an interdisciplinary heritage walk titled “Footsteps Through Time” at Old Goa on September 12. The activity, held as part of the internal assessment for the papers Cultural Heritage of Goa and Principles and Practices of Management, gave students an opportunity to move beyond the classroom and learn through experience.
