MARGAO: Bardez Veterans trounced Quepem Veterans 3-0 in the 4th all Goa Veterans football tournament, organised by Batora United Club, at DYSA ground, Curtorim, on Saturday.
In the first session of play, Quepem veteran Babazin and Jaffar missed the opportunity to score while Bardez wasted open chance by Lino Pereira before half time.
Changing over, Bardez Veterans changed their plans and scored three quick goals by Sailesh Misquin and Paresh scored a brace while Bardez goalkeeper Vicky Sharma saved a penalty kick taken by Jaffar.
