The Science Club of Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley High School, Pilerne, participated in the Wipro-Earthian 2020-21, organised by CPR Environmental Education Centre, Chennai and Goa State Council of Science and Technology in collaboration with Wipro Foundation, Bengaluru and won the Regional Award for their project theme ‘Biodiversity’. The team, with members Rizya Po, Joel Fernandes, Harsh Sawant, Caden Lobo, Ayush Parsekar completed the project under the mentorship of their science teacher Joecy H Lourenco. Students and the guiding teacher were felicitated through virtual mode on February 24 for this feat.
The students performed five mandatory activities and one elective. These included the environment as a shared space, biodiversity among leaves, leaf munchers, interview and card game.
