Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) has announced the scheme to select the Book of the Year 2020 and appealed to writers and publishers to apply for this award. Under the scheme, the writers/publishers who have released their books for the period from January 01, 2019, to December 31, 2020, are entitled to apply. The book has to be from any of these categories: poetry, story, novel, essay, tiatr (drama) and research.
Under the scheme, the winner will be awarded Rs 20,000 in a specially organised function. The books that are transliterated and those who have won the award in the past will not be considered for the award. The writers/publishers can hand deliver or post three copies of their books to DKA office at Old Education Building, 2nd floor, 18th June road in Panaji by March 22.
