Goan students will now get the opportunity to participate in the International Vedic Mathematics Olympiad organised by the Institute for the Advancement in Vedic Mathematics, United Kingdom in November. Sagar Sakordekar, founder, SRS Vedic Mathematics Academy (Goa) has been appointed as the Centre Coordinator for Goa and those wishing to participate in this Olympiad should register their names with him. “Vedic Mathematics is the high-speed system of mathematical calculations developed in India. It helps to solve amazingly difficult problems easily. It makes mathematics easy and enjoyable and eliminates math-phobia. Vedic Maths helps to score in any competitive exams,” said Sakordekar who has been spreading the knowledge of Vedic Mathematics for the past 16 years. “We will be organising an exclusive four-day online workshop, ‘Vedic Mathematics - High Speed Maths’ on Zoom platform beginning on October 19. Part 1 will be at 3 pm and Part 2 will start on 7 pm,” he added. Sakordekar has trained 70,000 students and teachers from schools and colleges in Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala through 1100 plus workshops.
