Thieves posing as customers steal gold chain worth Rs 1.11 lakh in Vasco

Unknown culprits on Tuesday stole a gold chain worth Rs 1.13 lakh after posing as customers at a jewellery shop in Vasco.
According to the information from the jeweller, Kripesh Bandodkar, two women along with a man entered his shop posing as customers and stole one gold chain weighing 24.26 gms worth Rs 1,11,300. Vasco police has registered an offence under Section 380 read with 34 IPC and Vasco Head Constable Santosh Bhatkar is carrying out further investigation.

MARGAO The Konkan Railway police station has arrested a lady national of Ivory Coast for staying in Goa allegedly on a fake visa. Konkan railway police station in-charge, PI Hiru Kavlekar informed that the lady was found at the Thivim railway station on Thursday.
