Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts is conducting a one-day long workshop ‘Salvage “ Weaving with recycled materials’ with textile designer and weaver Poonam Pandit on weekend, February 27 and 28 in collaboration with Goa Open Arts. The participants (above 15 years) will be learning how to craft their own unique hand woven artwork from old T-shirts, left over fabrics, yarns or other flexible material, from 11 am to 4 pm. Pandit's workshop will teach the basic principles of weaving, including warping the frame loom, tapestry techniques, colour experimentations and finishing.
