Children’s Rights in Goa with its partners Action Aid Association and Siemens Limited have provided 50 computers, 5 each to 10 Government high schools in Goa under their project “Jigyaasa”. This curiosity based STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths) project was implemented in schools from 2019. An inaugural event of the computer labs was organized at Government High School, Alto“Betim on September 30. “I would like to appreciate Siemens with it’s implementing partners for providing this computer aid under Jigyaasa to our schools that would benefit students specially from underprivileged back grounds,” said Bhushan K. Savaikar, Director, Department of Education, Goa. Twenty-four science teachers were also felicitated for their remarkable performance in STEM education.
