The Supreme Court of India has placed the plea of former State Congress president Girish Chodankar seeking a direction to Goa Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar to decide the disqualification petition against the eight Congress MLAs who defected to the BJP last year on its Board and may hear it on Monday.
Chodankar has urged the Apex court to direct Tawadkar to give his verdict in the petition pending before him for over a year.
