Konkani book ‘Vavzhad’ written by Arun Salkar was launched at the hands of Art and Culture minister Govind Gaude and Speaker Rajesh Patnekar. Congratulating Salkar for his book, Govind Gaude expressed hope that the book would inspire the youth of Goa. Patnekar stated that Salkar is continuously working on innovative ideas and he should be congratulated for that. Vallabh Salkar presented 160 copies of the book to the Central Library. Among the guests who were present on the occasion were Vallabh Salkar, Sagar Shetye, Anand Desai, Damodar Prabhu, Sudatta Mandrekar, Shyam Kant Mulgaonkar among others.
