Birth reg above 90%, death between 80% to 90% in State

Birth registration in Goa is above 90% while registration of deaths is between 80% to 90%, states annual reports of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for the year 2021-2022. In all, 1508 Goan freedom fighters or their eligible dependents have been sanctioned pension as on March 31, 2022, the report further points out. Four more Coastal Police Stations have been sanctioned for Goa in addition to the 4 existing ones and construction of one Coastal PS is underway, as per the report.
