The Lions Club of Canacona along with Leo Club Of Canacona on the occasion of 75th Independence Day of India organised diabetes check Up and general check Up by Lion Dr Vilas Pawaskar at Lions Club House at Canacona. Dr Vilas Pawaskar checked the patients and gave a talk on diabetes to members. President Lion Patricia Mendonca e Torres has urged members to continue the awareness programme of 'Living Happily With Diabetes' with the Region Chairperson Lion Celso Fernandes, Lion Sachin Kale, Zone Chairperson, Lion Mahesh Gaitonde along with Leo President Deepa Gosavi and Team of Lions Club of Canacona with Leo Club of Canacona being present. The 75th Independence Day was celebrated with flag Hoisting at the Lions Club House at Canacona along with prize distribution for our initiative 'No To Plastic' which was held recently.
