The Maina-Curtorim police has registered a case against a scooter owner for giving the two-wheeler to a 17-year-old minor boy, which was involved in a fatal accident at Raia some days ago. Police informed that the pillion rider succumbed to his injuries while the minor rider is convalescing at the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. Maina-Curtorim police in-charge, PI Arun Desai informed that the minor boy knocked down a pedestrian at Arlem-Raia. In the bargain, the pillion rider sustained serious injuries and later succumbed. The minor rider is undergoing treatment at the GMC.
