Concrete Day was celebrated by Indian Concrete Institute (Goa Branch) in association with JK Cement Ltd at International Centre Dona Paula Goa. The Chief Guest was Chief Engineer, IDSE Goa Eng Sunil Agrawal, Guest of Honour was Siddharth Kothiya, Zonal Head Customer Technical Service, JK Cement Ltd. It was followed by technical talks by Eng Amol Shimpi, RICS Built Environment, Mumbai on Opportunities in Valuation for Built Environment Professionals and by Eng Robert D’souza, Int Electra, Goa on Special Grouting Techniques.
Present on the occasion were Chairman ICI Goa Eng Joseph Silveira, Secretary Eng Vikrant Dessai, Treasurer Eng ShivaKumar Patil, other members of ICI Goa, Professors of Engineering Collages and others. The programme was compered by Prof Ruchi Kadamb Sawant.
