The Alliance International Club felicitated noted medical practitioner and medical director of Shree Ortho & Trauma Centre Dr Devagouda with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his exemplary services rendered during the first and second Covid waves.
Dr Devagouda was felicitated at the function on Saturday on the occasion of the installation of the new Alliance International Club district team.
Alliance International President Avinash Ohari, District Governor Dinkar Shetty, Dr Ravindra Totiger, J C Thomas, Naveena Shettigar and others were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Devagouda highlighted the need to extend services to the poor and needy patients via government schemes.
Serving as the IMA Secretary and also as the member of Covid Hospitals Audit Committee, special efforts were initiated to support the Covid hospitals and motivate Covid Warriors, he added.
Social Activists Shravan Bhaskarshetty, M B Lava, Ashpak Ghori were also awarded by the club.
