DKA celebrates 75th I-Day with poetry recital

Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) celebrated the 75th Independence Day at the conference hall of Tiatr Academy of Goa in Panaji in the presence of writers and poets. A poetry recitation programme was held on the occasion. The DKA president Vincy Quadros addressed the gathering. Daniel F de Souza, vice president of DKA also spoke on the day and pointed out that the day also marks the feast of Our Lady of Assumption.

The poets who participated in the poetry recital were Sandhya Fernandes, Sonia Gomes, Willy Goes, Pio Esteves, Vincy Quadros, Shobha Fulkar, Ana Tereza Rodrigues, Michelle Coutinho, William Fernandes, Narayan Khorjuenkar, Vassalo Carvalho, Dr Glenis Mendonca, Aleixinho Fernandes.
