PANAJI
The preparation for the unique Easter depiction which began on March 10 became a reality with the team work of the parishioners at St Thomas church Aldona under the guidance of Fr Michael Fernandes, Asst Parish priest. They have depicted the Passion and glorification of Jesus in 9 Scenes. They are: 1. Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem 2. Last supper and washing of feet 3. Agony in the garden and detainment 4. Scourging at the pillar and carrying of the cross 5. Crucifixion 6. Resurrection and empty tomb 7. St Thomas and Ascension 8. Pentecost 9. Synod 2023. This depiction will be kept open for the people from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm till May 7. The main aim of the depiction is to catechise people and to showcase the hidden talents. This unique depiction was inaugurated by the Parish Vicar Fr Tomas Lobo.
