PANAJI
Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, was awarded an 'A' Grade by NAAC at its 4th cycle of accreditation. The college was given a CGPA of 3.25. The NAAC Peer Team visited the college on March 22-23. The Chairperson of the team was astrophysicist Dr Shashi Kumar Dhiman, former Vice Chancellor HP Technical University, Himachal Pradesh. Dr Jerinabi Ubaidulla, Dean, Department of Commerce, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore was Member Coordinator. Dr Swati Pal, Principal, Janki Devi Memorial College, New Delhi served as Member of the NAAC Peer team. The Peer Team scrutinised all aspects of college documentation, held interactions with the different stakeholders and visited the various departments and facilities on campus. The cultural programme organised by the faculty and students was much appreciated.
