Reserve Bank of India Panjim Regional office felicitated Headmistress of GHS Morpirla Morena Miranda for her 33 years of teaching service, winning the State award for best teacher in the Headmistress category, and for working for the upliftment of tribal students in the most remote village of Morpirla as part of Women's Day celebration. N J Nampoothiri, General Manager of Reserve Bank Of India Panjim branch congratulated Morena for securing 100% SSC results for 5 years and was happy to know that she has introduced different innovative ideas for raising the quality of education like online classes, remote learning, art integrated learning using drama, dialogues, songs, role-play to make learning joyful, peer to peer learning, use of ICT. In her address, Morena thanked RBI for their gesture to appreciate her work and stressed the need for gender equality and empowerment of women and girls at all level.
