MARGAO: Guirdolim Club got the better of Naveliim Villagers Union 4-1 and moved to the final of Navelim Villagers Union trophy, organised by Navelim Villagers Union, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Monday.
Alrich Peixito opened the scoreline for Guirdolim in the fifth minute. Rizbon Fernandes doubled the lead for Guirdolim in the 12th minute.
Guirdolim further inflated the lead through Mario in the 15th minute while Clinton Niasso pulled a goal back for Navelim in the 56th minute.
It was Vitoriono Fernandes who netted 4-1 for Guirdolim in the 58th minute.
Edwin Cardozo ZP member presented the man of the match award to Allen George of Guirdolim Club.
