PANAJI
A team from the Mandrem Police Station, during a patrol at Arambol Beach, recently arrested a 24-year-old Ugandan national who was found to be residing illegally in a rented room in Arambol without valid travel documents, such as a passport or visa.
The woman, Shinah Esterh, was taken to the police station and subsequently booked under Section 7(1)(3) of the Foreigners Order Act and Section 14 of the Foreigners Order Act, 1946. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
