The online admission process for the academic year 2021-11 at the Pernem Government Industrial Training Institute and Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has begun, stated principal Dattaprasad Palni. After a demand was put forth from the enthusiastic women groups from the locality to start new courses like cutting and tailoring, the request has been catered to and these courses have been sanctioned in the training programme with immediate effect. From this year onwards the cutting and tailoring courses laced with new technology are made available, Palni added.
Teacher Mahesh Godkar briefed on the various courses available for class 8-10 pass children which include courses like electrician, AC mechanic, fitter, plumber, welder, computer, sewing technology, hospitality catering, food and production, front office, housekeeper etc. Those who wish to take admission can visit the ITI institute in person, or call teachers Ishwar Narvekar, Jorden Fernandes, Audumbar Salgaonkar, Anil Vaingankar, Anisa Fernandes, Swapnil Desai, Sachin Mehta, Yogesh Mhalkar, Zishan Aga, Santosh Sakhalkar, Vasudev Satardelar and Premanand Chodankar.
