Pernem Councillor Vishnu Salgaonkar has begun pre-monsoon work in his Ward 10. "The municipal council receives special funds for pre-monsoon work and I will get gutters cleaned in my ward through this fund.”
“There are some hotels and locals who release their waste water in these gutters," said Salgaonkar.
