The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Goa Chapter, will organise Editors Meet 2026 on the theme ‘AI and the Future of Media: Reshaping Journalism, PR and Digital Communication’ at Terminal Banquets, Caculo Mall, Panaji, on November 1. The event, scheduled to begin at 10.30 am, will bring together editors, journalists, media professionals, communication experts, academicians and industry representatives to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on journalism, public relations and digital communication. Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade will be the chief guest and inaugurate the meet.
The discussions will focus on the opportunities and challenges presented by the growing use of AI in newsrooms and digital platforms, with particular emphasis on responsible adoption, journalistic credibility, ethics and public trust. A major highlight will be an Editors' Round Table moderated by academician Prof Dr Manoj Kamat.
