Chandrakant Shetgaonkar has been elected unopposed as the Vice President of Bardez Bazar Consumer Co-operative Society.The post was lying vacant after a no-confidence motion against former vice president Narayan Ratwad was passed a week ago.Nine out of total 14 directors of the organization attended the meeting. Former vice president, Narayan Ratwad, ex-president Poonam Azgaonkar, Nirmala Khalap, Nikhil Khalap and Joseph Couto were absent.Last month, former MLA Dharma Chodankar was elected as the president of the Bardez Bazar after he managed to remove former president Poonam Azgaonkar by passing a no-trust motion against her.
