The NGO Presentation Society Premanjali (PSP) which is run by the Presentation Sisters in North Goa, will host a Webinar on July 28 at 4.30 pm, to mark the World Day of Trafficking Against Persons on July 30.In a press release, the PSP stated that the situation of sex trafficking in the State “is very grim and alarming.” “Being a tourist destination, it attracts large numbers of tourists both from India as well as abroad and is a hotspot for trafficking. The Northern coastal belt with its broad expanse of beaches is specially amenable to trafficking, for commercial sexual exploitation.” In order to create awareness on this issue, the PSP will be host a Webinar on Trafficking of Persons via Zoom (MEETING ID: 861 3616 1325, PASSCODE: victims) on July 28 at 4.30 pm.
