The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) president Ralph De Sousa along with director general Kishore Shah, chartered accountants Rohan Bhandare (chairman of taxation committee) and Parimal Kulkarni (former chairman of taxation committee) called on V Soundarrajan IRS, CGST Commissioner at his office and handed over a copy of the GCCI annual report. The Commissioner assured to explore ways to have a purposeful interaction with the apex body of trade and commerce in the State. The GCCI chairman suggested that notifications coming from the Centre or State could be shared with them to update members and facilitate seamless compliance. The commissioner was also requested to contribute to the GCCI bulletin with informative articles for the business community.
