Women's Bhajan contest begins today
at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir

The 49th Pt Manoharbuva Shirgaonkar memorial Women's Bhajan Competition begins at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir on August 15 at 2.30 pm. Art and Culture Minister and chairman of Kala Academy, Govind Gaude will inaugurate the competition in the presence of Ponda MLA Ravi Naik. Naik will be the guest of honour on the occasion. The competition will be held with the joint collaboration of Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir in two sessions on two consecutive days. The first session will be on Sunday, while the second will be held next day (August 16) at 2.30 pm. The programme schedule for women artists from other centres as well as men artists will be announced later, stated Kala Academy. The artists should be present 30 minutes prior to their session. The programme will be held with a maximum 100 people in the audience including the artists, stated the Kala Academy.
