The members of the Rotaract Club, Margao carried out a cleanliness campaign at the Cabo de Rama fort at Khola, Canacona. This place of historical significance and full of natural beauty, attracts a large number of tourists throughout the year and a lot of garbage is created by them which ruins the beauty of the place. That was the reason this cleanliness was done here and the sarpanch of Khola Panchayat, Purna Nayak appreciated and supported the initiative of the Rotaract team. Speaking on the occasion, Lionel Gomes, president, Rotaract Club, Margao, appealed to the visitors to be aware of cleanliness. Gomes mentioned that in the past too, the team has collected garbage as a part of their social and environmental commitment and handed it over to the concerned department. Sayali Kolvekar, Dipankar Nayak, Divesh Nayak, Sayali Kane, Anish Agni, Saideep Panginkar, Vrushali Panginkar, Anand Sardesai, Rajay Nayak participated in the cleaning campaign.
