MARGAO: Young Strikers, Xirro-Carmona thrashed Sparkling Boys, Carmona 8-2 to move to the next round of late Ashvek Salvino Anthony Mackvin Franky tournament, organised by Cross Boys of Carmona, at Carmona panchayat ground, on Monday.
Alison netted a hat-trick while Aquin found the net twice for the winners. Rayson, Venu and Ryden also got their on the scoresheet for the Carmona side. Guddu scored a brace for Sparkling Boys.
Earlier, in the inaugural match on Sunday, Cross Boys Sporting, Carmona down BXT Boys 2-1, Carmona.
Cross Boys scored through Neil D'Cruz and Joseph in 17th and 23rd minutes respectively while BXT Boys scored through Prajwal in 40th minute through a penalty.
