Vasco police on Sunday evening arrested two youth in connection with a burglary in Vasco on Friday.
According to sources in Vasco police station, a burglary was reported in a flat at Khalap Mansion, Vasco at around 7 pm on Friday.
"Advocate Ullhas Shirodkar had left from his house at around 8 am for work and returned by around 7 pm, when he noticed that someone had broken open the main door. He also realised that someone had burgled his house and stolen cash and gold worth around Rs 1.9 lakh.”
Acting on the complaint, Vasco police began investigations and arrested two youth, Mantesh Golar (25) from Kharewado and Shankar Alur (26) from Hubbali-Karnataka.
Vasco PSI Prajyoti Desai is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Nilesh Rane and guidance of DySP Raju Raut Desai.
