A three-day certified training programme on the concept design to manufacturing using CNC machines was conducted at the Hi-Tech Lab of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Agnel Institute of Technology and Design. The training was conducted in two Batches. Batch 1 was trained from March 7-9 while batch 2 was trained from March 15-17. Resource persons for the training programme were Prof Saish N Rivankar, Department of Mechanical engineering, AITD Goa and Deniz Fernandes, Workshop Instructor, Department of Mechanical engineering, AITD Goa. During the training programme participants were taught to write manual part programme for turning applications and the same was tested on CNC Lathe. Participants were trained to make a CNC programme using FeatureCAM 2021 by importing CAD models prepared using SolidWorks 2015. 32 students from all across the state took part in the programme.
