Van Mahotsav was observed at Primary Health Centre Aldona on July 8 which was in collaboration with Wildlife Ecotourism, North Goa Division, Marine Range Morjim, Joseph Fernandes, RFO & his staff and Forest Department, North Goa Division, Panaji Range, Mangaldas Devsekar, RFO & staff.
15 saplings were planted in the hospital premises at the hands of RFOs and the officials of Primary Health Centre, Aldona. Plants were distributed to the hospital staff of Aldona.
Officials present from Primary Health Centre Aldona were Dr Roshan Nazareth (Health Officer), Mihir Khorjuemkar (Extension Educator), Dr Rupali Vernekar (Homeopathy Physician), Dr Jyotsna Fondekar (Ayush Medical Officer), Rupa Tendulkar (Public Health Nurse), Anushka Gaonkar (Lady Health Visitor) and Prasad Gawas (Sanitary Inspector).
During the program, message “Plant a tree today for a better tomorrow”, was highlighted.
